Reasons to blog

1.The weather is so wonderful and I am lovin' it!

2. 2 of my piano students completed their piano level. So yeah, new books and new lessons for them. I seriously think that 2 of my students are musically gifted. Don't get me wrong, I love all of my students and they're all doing great. But I noticed 2 of them are just extra-ordinary. I ask them to practice and they not only practice, they memorize it and play it perfectly! Always! It's awesome how they improve tremendously in a short amount of time.

3. I took some pictures today and it was fun!

SRS Piano Studio

I have 5 openings for piano students. If you know anyone who's interested, let me know. Aside, from photography, I do have a home-based piano studio.Yes, I am very business-minded but I love what I do with passion. I started teaching piano in 2006 here in MO . I only had one student at that time and it kept adding until I had to make it an official business :-) So SRS PIANO STUDIO was born last year. I couln't think of a name except my intials and I like it. I had years of experience in teaching back home (philippines). Music will always be a big part of my life.Recital is coming up in August, so I'm pretty excited.I don't have the exact date yet. It'll be announced soon.

POST VALENTINE DATE

We celebrated Valentine's day last night and it was very romantic. I attended
my cousin's wedding on Valentine's day in California and so we missed that occasion. So anyway, while I was gone, he planned for a special date. He took me out on a romantic dinner in a very nice Italian restaurant. I had linguine frutti de Mare and it was the best! He also suprised me with 2 Phantom of the Opera tickets which I can't wait to go. He also upgraded my phone before that as part of my Vday present. And YES! I got an iphone and it's beautiful! I was seriosly having a love affair with his iphone and tried to phoneNapped it (Not sure if that's the right term). All i can say is, "I want it, I cried, and I got it!!!" hahaha. Okay, that saying is not applicable all the time FYI. For the second part of our date, we had some yummy dessert at Skies Restaurant. It was very romantic and gorgeous atmosphere. This was our view from the restaurant...


Here's what we ordered for dessert. I was very impressed with the preparation. It's very good too.
